Getting to Les Crosets & Champoussin from Châtel
The Swiss side of the PDS is really quite easy to get to from Chatel via Linderet and the Cases lift. Great views and often quieter, wide pistes and in the sunshine (south facing)…so can be very slushy in the spring. Look out for the Ripaille area, accessed from the top of the 8 man Les Crosets lift.

RESTOS: Hmmm we don’t really love the options in the area, our suggestion is to ski this in the morning, then head to Brochaux for a late lunch, or take the Chevanette lift up the Swiss wall to get to O’Pacha for lunch.
TIP: We really love the runs back to France and the Cases lift, and also the Blue Velvet lift under the Brochaux lift

Ripaille Ski Area
The Ripaille area is accessed from the top of the 8 man Les Crosets chair.
To return to Les Crosets – ↑ Telesiege Pauvre Conche
To go to Fornet / O’Pacha restaurant – ↑ Telesiege Chauvenette.
You can also take this lift back down to return via ↑ Telesiege Pauvre Conche
Heading Back: Navigating to Chatel
From Les Crosets: ↑ Telesiege Grande Conche or Mossettes
returns you to the Linderet bowl . We really like to take
↑ Telesiege Brochaux
and ski the Blue Velvet run, left at the top of the lift.You can ski to the bottom of the same lift. or cut across to get to Linderet.
↑ Telesiege Chaux Fleurie
returns you to Chatel.
ALTERNATIVE RETURN TO CHATEL
You can take the Chevanette lift up the Swiss wall into Fornet.
Attention here though as this means you must take the Tour lift to return to Chatel, which gets very busy late in the day
⚠️ It is possible to take the Cubore lift from Fornet, to join back to the Cases lift via the Cubore piste – this piste is red and very difficult, often unpisted with moguls to rival the Swiss Wall. Once you go up this lift, you must do the piste, you can not return back to Fornet.
